The Collins of Texas handbag was a MUST HAVE for every American girl during the 50's through early 70's. It was a staple to many and to have as a fashion accessory. There were two types of handbags Enid Collins created; the wooden box purse and the canvas bucket. Each bag was decorated in colorful paint, rhinestones in several themed designs. The finishes in each bag became signatures from Enid Collins. Collins used leather trimming, with compact mirrors in each design. A bit of glitz on the way to the market? Sure, why not?
